🏆 KBYC Opens the Season at the 54th Southeast Dinghy Championship
Eleven RWB sailors represented KBYC in a 118-boat fleet: nine from the regular season group and two satellite sailors. Light air on both days limited the event to three races on Saturday, and no racing was possible on Sunday.
Vincent Vuksa finished 3rd in White Fleet, the top result of the weekend for our team. Two of our sailors also made their RWB debut at this event.
Our team sailed with discipline in tricky light-air conditions, and that is the standard we build on. It is the foundation for what comes next.
This regatta is the starting point of a season with clear goals: qualifying for the STQ and performing at the Orange Bowl. We will keep working on boat speed, starts, and clean, rules-compliant sailing.
